I'm quite obsessed with this podcast. In fact, I found it difficult to pick just one episode to recommend. I pretty much plowed through the whole repertoire while chipping away at an oil painting and finishing up some drawings. "Invisibilia" (Latin for all the invisible things) is co-hosted by Lulu Miller and Alix Spiegel. It explores the fringe forces that affect human behavior. Their form of storytelling is undeniably enthralling and some of the narratives they uncover are truly mind-boggling. Rest assured, each episode will most likely make you force out an audible "whaaaa??" as you listen.
The "Entanglement" episode reveals the "story of a woman with Mirror Touch Synesthesia who can physically feel what she sees others feeling. And an exploration of the ways in which all of us are connected — more literally than you might realize. The hour will start with physics and end with a conversation with comedian Maria Bamford and her mother. They discuss what it's like to be entangled through impersonation." (Invisibilia, NPR)
